Small mounding grass that takes on strong bronze tones in full sun offering a terrific foliage contrast with other perennials or grasses. Carex is grown more for its foliage, so position it where this can be appreciated. The testacea are tough, taking dry conditions really well. If they are getting too much shade the foliage will lose the bronze, becoming predominately green. Increasing sun will return the bronze colouration. 0.35mH x 0.35mW. A favourite sleeping pillow for small dogs!
