This aster has larger leaves than most of the other asters I offer, and therefore needs a little bit more water than the rest. Having said that, in a position where it receives a little dappled afternoon shade, it is less thirsty and still flowers well. Warm purple flowers on stems up to 60cm high are produced from summer into autumn. These are good for cutting and last well in the vase. Makes a plant approximately 0.5m wide.
