Endemic to inland USA around New Mexico and Nevada, Sidalcea is a great addition to a cottage garden or perennial meadow. Tall spires of flowers similar to hollyhock are produced from early summer and continue well into autumn. Does tolerate dry soils but will flower more prolifically if it's watered weekly during the hot part of summer. Full sun to a little afternoon shade. Good for floral work. 1.5mH x 0.35mW
