Fast growing perennial nicotiana with large velvety grey leaves and lime green tubular flowers. Flowers are produced in enormous inflorescences from mid spring until autumn. Each panicle comprises many tubular lime green flowers with a deeper green lip creating a frothy lime green cloud of flowers above the grey foliage. Best in full sun although it can tolerate a little shade. Without pruning it can attain a height of 3m, but I have found it is best pruned back to woody stumps in winter so there is lots of fresh new growth the following spring. Or replace with new seedlings every couple of years. One of my favourite fillers. Does look best with weekly water.
