Clear white flowers are produced in profusion during early summer offering a fresh, cool look. Much better suited to Perth's hot dry climate than the commonly grown Crepe Myrtle; doesn't burn in the hot, dry easterlies, quick growing, happily tolerates dry when established (mine grow on rainfall alone), happy on alkaline soils.
