This Miscanthus is great for screening as it only gets to around 80cm wide but nice and tall (1.8m). Put it beside the shed or along that narrow space between the house and the side fence or in the strip of death 'garden bed' between the driveway and the side fence. The leaf blade is soft so it's pedestrian friendly and is much less maintenance than a hedge. Typically Miscanthus flowers/seed awnes in summer but sterile. Full sun is best although tolerates part shade. A weekly drink during the hot weather keeps in looking good. 1.8mH x 0.8mW
