A terrific golden leaf berberis that tolerates full sun if there is a little water available to get it through the hottest part of summer. Upright in shape, it reaches around 0.9mH x 0.7mW. New growth has some variegation on the leaf that fades to a green-gold as the foliage matures. In autumn it takes on reddish and burgundy tints in the foliage before heading into winter dormancy. One of my favourite Berberis because it is so easy to grow!
