A smaller growing berberis which makes it easy to site in the garden although like most berberis, it does have some thorns so keep away from paths. New foliage has some variegation which darkens as the foliage matures to a golden green. This berberis does perform better with dappled shade to morning sun only in Perth. In the cooler south west areas it may cope with full sun. The golden glow on the foliage of this berberis really does make it terrific for beneath trees, lightening up shady spots and coping really well with drier soils. 0.9mH x 0.65mW
