This plant is loathed by the pastel set but it's such a good doer! Growing quickly, flowering almost continuously from mid spring to mid autumn, attracting bees, butterflies and honeyeaters, it's a dream plant. Prune off spent flowers to encourage dense foliage and another flush of flowers. I prune hard over winter to keep the flowers at eye level and the plant bushy and tidy. Full sun to part shade. Tolerates dry but looks better with the occasional drink over the hot part of summer. 1.5mH x 1.5mW (pruned)
