Salvia canariensis 'Alba'
A rare form of Salvia canariensis, it has green leaves still with the hastate shape, but smaller than the species. Flowers are produced throughout the warmer weather with major flushes during spring and autumn. The persistent calyxes are attractive in their own right and can extend the show, particularly in autumn. They also make interesting floral art for the vase. Grow in full sun to part shade. Repeat flowering occurs if some water is given during the warm weather. It will tolerate dry conditions but flowering is reduced. 1.8mH x 1.5mW
