Aster novi-belgii 'Snowsprite' (White michaelmas daisy)
Another of the novi-belgii cultivars that grows really well in the hot summers of Western Australia. Basal mound of dark green foliage spreads rhizomatically over time reaching around 0.4mW. In summer tall stems up to 0.45mH are produced which are topped by a multitude of clear white daisy like flowers with golden centre. Great for cutting to have in the vase. If the first flush of blooms is pruned off after finishing, a second smaller flush of flowers can occur. Keep soils lightly moist during summer for best flowering results. Full sun to some afternoon shade.
